Cancellation policy

Shared basket bookings

  • If trip insurance is not purchased, written notice is required at least 72 hours before the scheduled meeting time to cancel.
  • If trip insurance is purchased, cancellation is allowed up to 8 hours before the scheduled meeting time for a flight credit, with one reschedule allowed within 1 year at no additional fee.
  • Groups of 6–13 passengers require 10 days' written notice to cancel or adjust a reservation.
  • Groups of 14 or more passengers require at least 20 days' written notice to cancel or reschedule any passengers.
  • If the operator cancels the flight, guests may either reschedule or receive a full refund, minus trip insurance, processing, and booking fees.

Private flights: At least 14 days' written notice is required before the meeting time so the space can be refilled.

Trip insurance details

Optional Trip Insurance: By electing to purchase per person non-refundable trip/flight insurance ($17.87pp) for the full value of the party's flight ticket(s), guests may reschedule one time within one year due to unforeseen circumstances.

For parties of 2–4, notice must be provided within 5 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time. For groups larger than 4, notice must be provided at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time.

Reschedules may be subject to space availability and holiday constraints. All notifications must be emailed to info@skysthelimitballooning.com.
