Join the Smith family for Kauai's signature luau inside their 30-acre tropical gardens. Witness the torch-lighting imu ceremony, enjoy a buffet filled with island favorites, then settle in for a colorful Polynesian show beneath the stars.

Good to know

Check in begins at 5:00pm. The imu ceremony typically starts at 6:15pm followed by dinner and the show. Vegetarian and gluten-free buffet options are available; let the host know upon arrival.

Restrictions

Wheelchair access is available with advance notice. Please advise of any dietary needs at least 24 hours before arrival.

Smith's Tropical Paradise is located at 3-5971 Kuhio Hwy, Kapaa, HI 96746 along the Wailua River. Follow the signs for Smith's Luau and continue through the front gate to the parking area.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the luau receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable unless Smith's Family Luau cancels due to weather or operational reasons, in which case a full refund is provided.
